Special Edition Entry.

This is special edition entry. Why? Because this is the last entry that we need to write and because of the top ten questions that we need to answers:

1) What do you like about blogging?
I love blogging a lot! Because it is where you can freely pen down you reflection, thoughts, ideas & emotions…It is nice to share information with others. Besides, it also can be a good platform of learning whereby we can read each others blog, comments on it and it can be a good discussion.

2. What have you gained from blogging? How?
A lot….For example, through reflection, it really help me to reflect on my own learning, on what I have learn, how I feel about it and what are the additional info that I got from other source which have enhance my understanding for that particular topic.

3. What have you gained from blogging eg? Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc.
I think blogging do helps me in my language, critical thinking, technology skills etc.
4. How?
It is because I have the tendency to check on my work after I blog, to self-correct. It also does promote critical thinking when we need to think critically what we going to post in the blog. And yes, technology skills too where I learn how to set up a blog and how to decorate it.

5. What do you like about this course?
I love to learn lots of new things in this course.

6. What you do not like about this course?
Perhaps I must say it's the workload -the tutorials that we have to do. It's quite a burden as we have assignments for other courses too! Yeah, I do agree that all those tutorials are important, but I just hope that it can be reduced.

7. What have you learnt from this course?
I have learnt lots of new things in this course, especially regarding the technology such how to edit picture and how to edit audio. Besides, it also encourages me to explore softwares and also to explore things on the net.

8. What have you learnt from this course that you did not expect to?
Still, it would be those technology stuff, audio and video editing. This is because when I first heard of this class I thought it would be on flash cards, language games, puppets that sort of things.

9. What have u expected but do not learn from this course?
I expect that we will give more guidance on how to use certain software. But, instead of that I need to explore it by myself, more towards independent learning. However, I do wish some demonstration since it made me quite confused just to see tutorial on the computer, for example.

10. If you can change anything about this course, state what is and elaborate?
I think it would be the assignments. If I could, the Portfolio assignment would be changed to group work instead of individual ones. It’s a lot…
11. On a scale of 1 – 10, please rate your computing and technological skills for both before and after undergoing the course.
Before: 5. Now: 8!

-I have fall in love in blogging…There are lots of things that we can share with others…Sharing is caring! I will have my own personal blog very soon…Don’t forget to visit and follow my blog ya=)
Lastly, million thanks to the lecturer and my fellow course mates, I really have learnt a lot!

Bye-Bye!

Reflection of the last Resources lesson

Ermmm…Now its come to end of the term..

How strange it is when I reminisced on the first lesson, when I first entered this class, the confusion and blankness in my mind, not knowing what to expect. This is also the first time I involved in these blogging things, which of course make me feel worried at first since I even don’t know what actually a blog is, and what it’s used for. But, when the time flies, I become more familiar with all this things.

And now as all things have come to an end, when I reflect back on what we have done throughout this semester, I do realize that I've learnt so much. There may be times of difficulty, dead-ends, explore things that I not familiar with, but I believe every encounter in life serves as a teacher to us and give us a new experiences as well as new knowledge for us.

During the last class, madam Foziah also told us her experience when she study oversea, It such an interesting experience I could say, to study oversea and have the opportunity to explore other country. She give us motivation in order to study hard, to have a high ambition in order not to just have only degree, but also master and PHD…Somehow, this give me some sort of inspiration and motivation…InsyaAllah, I will follow you ma’am..I want to have “Dr.” in front of my name, “Dr.Siti Khatijah binti Abdullah”.

And last but not least, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank to Madam Foziah for guiding us through these 14 weeks. Besides, I also would like to apologize to Mdm Foziah for all the mistakes and negligence that I have caused. Sorry Ma'am!

And so that's all people! Bye bye and see you again!

Microsoft Publisher.

Have you ever seen this?
Have you ever use this for your project, business or office?
And have you ever used this for your classroom?

Yeah, I think you know that is Microsoft publisher. Before this, I just often used it to do brochure or flyers. But when Ma'am asked us to explore, I realize that it can be used for many other things. For example, certificates, business cards, invitation cards, banner, catalogue, business cards, greetings cards, handout, postcards, advertisement and even resume! There are lots of templates in it which we could just easily modify and personalize. We just need to insert any info that we want and put any pictures or logo (if necessary) to make it more interesting.

For classroom purpose, teacher can use Microsoft Publisher in order to produce any teaching aids, or it also can be used to evaluate pupils or just as writing practice for them. Teacher can teach pupils the former during a special occasion, like Mother's Day and Teacher's Day; while for the latter; teacher can design one using Microsoft Publisher and give it to pupils after every semester as a motivation card. Some of Microsoft publisher program also can be uses to develop questions from it, such as menus, advertisement and postcard.
Without any doubt, we can say that Microsoft Publisher really have lots of usage, not only for business or office, but it also definitely useful as a resources for classroom use. Therefore, teacher should utilize this program as it serves lots of things which benefit both the teacher and the learners.

Week 11-Its show Time!

The class on week 10 is the show time class. We get to watch all the videos that our friends have done! They are all so interesting because it's a free topic and we get to choose whatever song, music, pictures or video that we want to put up there and I can say that almost everyone done a good job.

As for my group, Alif and me has choose the topic “love”.We choose this topic because love is one of the essential things in our live.Without love, we even won’t be able to live in this world, since mother with full of her love toward us, she carry us 9 months in her womb, give full care of us during babies and our parents work hard to earn living for us.Therefore,we choose that topic which we hope that we can appreciate the person who love us, who have sacrifices a lots towards us.Overall,I satisfied with our job since we have choose some good pictures, goes with some words and a nice song.

As for other group, I think I really like the one which produced by Faiz and Siti which is also about love. This story is start with Siti and Faiz as a couple. Then, Faiz would like to buy something for someone that he love, which I thought is Siti. So, he works hard to get some money to buy the present.Lastly, with the money that he got, he buy a present for her love ones, but it not for Siti, but actually for his father. This video has moral value and it also interesting since what what we predict earlier is wrong.

In order to produce a good video, there actually a few things that we need to consider. For example, the quality of pictures or videos, text, sound, colour, moral values and so on.Therefore, we must consider all these before producing any video.

Overall, I really enjoyed myself during this show time!

Class after Raya-Busy about assignments..

Oh my God! How could we forget that we still got another two assignments that we need to submit! Those are for assignment 2 which we need to do teaching aids and assignment 3 which we need to come out with lesson plan. So, for this 11 week, we are busy formed group for each assignment and at the same time try to make ourselves clear about what we going to do for the assignments. Madam Foziah is always there in order to clarify things which is unclear for us.Huhu…I can say that it quite blurry for me at first, but later, I’m okay…

Moral of the day: Carefully check your assignments, to make sure that you know what is next and what you soppose to do=P

Class before Raya holiday=)

Huhu...this entry is about the class before raya holiday...can u guess what happen??Hehe...of course we are all in Raya mode-home said coming, UM said go for a holiday, hehe...and some of us even already gone back, just left a few of us in class...

Just to reflect back what I have learnt...Basically,there's not much input on that day..Mdm Foziah show us two selected videos which I think is very nice and interesting...I love both especially the video about "Bidadariku"by Munif Ahmad...

Then, she asked us to comments on that video..I find that its really interesting with contemporary music combine with the traditional one, nice pictures and good voice, nice lyrics with lots of moral values-blended together which becomes a very touching and meaningful video...

Owh, I love it=)
